Tags can be picked up at the Town Office or Bentley Library ahead of time. The tags must be filled out fully and attached securely to each exhibit before the article will be accepted and/ or put on display.
It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to be sure the item being entered is entered in the proper class and conforms exactly with ALL criteria for its category to ensure the item is accepted and not disqualified. Complete the section (Baking, Sewing, Art, etc.) and the class number. A short description of entry goes in “Exhibit”. Fill out name, address, phone number. Include age if entering age division (especially important for youth and seniors). After acceptance and payment of entry fee, Exhibitor Number may be assigned.
Special Regulations:
Entries accepted Wednesday morning only.
Preserves must have been made since last year’s fair 2019. Jams and jellies must be sealed. Exception of freezer jams. Vegetable sauces and antipasto containing fish must be pressure canned. All preserves must be in sealer jars and labeled with contents, date and type of processing.
As recommended by previous judges each item must be a separate plastic bag and tagged, or it may be disqualified. And age may enter any class. You are judged in your own age group.
Note: Commercial mixes and / or pastry shells are NOT accepted.
Entrants: a) Junior - 12 years & under
b) Young Adult - 13 to 17 years
c) Adult - 18 years & over
