- Tags can be picked up at the Town Office or Bentley Library ahead of time.
- The tags must be filled out fully and attached securely to each exhibit before the article will be accepted and/ or put on display. Use string to attach tag to exhibit, if possible. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to be sure the item being entered is entered in the proper class and conforms exactly with ALL criteria for its category to ensure the item is accepted and not disqualified.
- Complete the section (Baking, Sewing, Art, etc.) and the class number. A short description of entry goes in “Exhibit”. Fill out name, address, phone number. Include age if entering age division (especially important for youth and seniors). After acceptance and payment of entry fee, Exhibitor Number may be assigned.

RULES & REGULATIONS
Please familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations.
- All exhibits must be the original work of the exhibitor and NEVER have been entered here before. Preference is given to those completed in the last year. PHOTOGRAPHY ENTRIES CAN ONLY BE ENTERED IN ONE SECTION; DUPLICATE ENTRY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED BY COMMITTEE.
- Exhibits must conform completely to the description of the class or they may be disqualified.
- Exhibitors can pick up entry tags for each of their exhibits at the Bentley Town Office or Bentley Library.
- Most bench exhibit entries accepted at the Blindman Valley Ag Center Tuesday evening, Aug. 8, 2023 between 7:00 and 8:30 p.m. or Wednesday morning, Aug. 9, 2023 between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. Exceptions: Baking and Horticulture entries taken Wednesday morning only.
- The Entry Fee is $1.00 per item.
- Exhibitors are limited to 1 entry per class or subsection unless otherwise specified.
- Some sections have "Special Instructions" and / or "Special Prizes" listed.
- Only 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prize will be awarded if merited. Prizes given for the quality of the work. Example: If 2 merit the same prize, 2 will be given. If no exhibit merits a “first place”, NO first will be given. If NO exhibit merits any prize, then NO prizes will be given. Not all exhibits receive prizes.
- Unless otherwise specified prizes will be: 1st.- $5.00, 2nd.- $4.00, and 3rd.- $3.00.
- Bench Exhibit Special Prizes for all categories will be presented at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, At the Blindman Valley Ag Center.
- Pick-up of displays and prize money is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor. No exhibit is to be removed until after prize presentations ceremony. Therefore exhibitors must be prepared to leave exhibits until at least 1:00 p.m. on Friday or prizes may be forfeited. Pick up between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Any entry left after that time will be disposed of at the discretion of the committee.
- PUBLIC VIEWING of exhibits on Thursday after the Parade until 5:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The public is invited to the 12:30 Awards Presentations on Friday.
- Judges decision for placing is final.
- Committee / Judge reserves the right to disqualify any exhibit. The Bentley Town & Country Fair Board reserves the right to decide any point not covered by the Rules and Regulations.
- The Bentley Town & Country Fair board WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR INJURIES RECEIVED or damage to or loss of any exhibit.
