Exhibited in the Bentley Curling Rink at the same time as bench exhibits.
NOTE EXCEPTION: Entries collected / accepted ahead of time at the Bentley school or individual entries (ex. Home school pupils, Hutterite school pupils welcome) will be accepted Tuesday, Aug. 2 until 1:00 p.m. at the Curling Rink All entries to be labeled with student's name, grade level & teacher.
- All judging is done by grade level
- NO entry fee - Prizes are RIBBONS ONLY (no money)

A. LANGUAGE ARTS:
Creative Writing - prose
Creative Writing - poetry
B. HANDWRITING: (On Interlined or Foolscap Paper)
Grade 1 & 2 - printing exercise (6 - 10 lines)
Grade 3 to 6 - handwriting exercise (10 - 20 lines)
Grade 4 to 6 - Scripting (10 - 20 lines)
C. ART: - No photocopied or scanned work accepted
- 3 entries for each medium (no larger than 18" X 24")
Grade 1 to 6 - Any Media - pencil or crayon drawing, watercolor, finger painting, inks, pastels, etc.
D. CRAFTS: Grade 1 to 6 - Various Mediums (e.g. foam art, weaving, sculpture, carving, papier-mâché, puppetry, etc.)
E. DISPLAYS: Classroom projects, dioramas, murals, collections (stamps, rocks, etc.)
GRADES 7 to 12
A. CREATIVE WRITING: Should be published and printed with a word processor
1. Prose - Grades 7 - 9 - about 300 words
- Grades 10 - 12 - about 400 words
2. Poem - not more than 30 lines
B. ART: Various mediums
C. CRAFTS: Various mediums
D. DISPLAYS: Class projects, hobbies, collections or murals, etc.
E. HOME ECONOMICS OR INDUSTRIAL ARTS PROJECTS:
F. COMPUTER LAYOUT - judged on content, general appearance, originality, and degree of difficulty
Grade 7 to 9 - computer designed poster of the current fair & rodeo
Grade 10 to 12 - short résumé or report
